JJHS Updates

The year is now in full swing and the first grading period ended Friday, September 6th. Teachers are using research based instructional strategies to engage students and increase their learning outcomes. I am confident that each student will see growth this year because of the effort our faculty and staff are putting into their lessons.

In order to help this work be as successful as it can be, ask your students about their experiences in the classroom and talk as a family about what they are learning. Engaging your students in these conversations will allow you to learn about what they are learning, show an interest in the things that they are doing and let them know that education is important at home as well as at school. Education is not something that is done to a student, but a process that is completed with them and is most effective when all stakeholders are involved. #PartnershipforLearning
