Meet Curtis Chiles

I've been married to my wife Alisha for 11 years. We have 5 kids, 3 boys and 2 girls, 1 grandson, and 3 granddaughters.  I graduated from Lovelady High School (Class of 89') where I played football and baseball.  I earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University and a master's degree in educational leadership from Lamar University.  My educational career started off as a physical education teacher and coach. I've been in education for 25 years as a teacher/coach and assistant principal. I've had the pleasure of coaching several different sports where  I may not have state championship success, but I have had success in other ways.  In 2002 I had the pleasure of starting a high school softball program for Seminole ISD, in 2005 as the Head Basketball coach at Latexo High School I guided the team and school to its first District Championship and Playoff game in 26 years. In 2004 as Head baseball coach the team fell short in the Bi-District playoff win to the eventual state champions, and in 2009 as the Head Baseball coach, I guided the baseball team to a Bi-District championship play-off win.

Fun Facts:

I have completed 3 Half-Marathons, one (1) 10k, and 3 5k races in the last four years.
